Now the trust has started state of the art -Jyothy Institute of Technology to impart best Technical Education. Jyothy Institute of Technology is another feather in the cap of Sri. B.N.V Subrahmanya. Jyothy Institute of Technology is promoted by Jyothy Charitable Trust to fulfil the ambitions of the founder. The JyothyInstitute of Technology strives to maintain Academic Excellence. Jyothy Institute of Technology is ideally located on a sprawling green campus in Tataguni, off Kanakapura Main Road, Bangalore. The Jyothy Institute of Technology is well equipped with state of the art Infrastructure, Laboratories, Library, Computing Facilities, Workshop, Sports, Students Amenities and well qualified and dedicated staff. Industry Interaction, Research Training & Employment techniques are the main features that are going to be implemented  in the Jyothy Institute of Technology campus. The Jyothy Institute of Technology follows the guidelines laid down by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Visvesvarya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, & Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Karnataka.

 Jyothy Institute of Technology LIBRARY

 Jyothy Institute of Technology Library is a resource centre for teaching, learning & research. Being the heart of the academic centre, Jyothy Institute of Technology library is home for all the information services. The objective of JyothyInstitute of Technology library is to provide right information / knowledge to the right users at the right time.Jyothy Institute of Technology library is equipped in area of 400 Sq feet. The JyothyInstitute of Technology library can accommodate 200 users at a time which is well ventilated and furnished. The Jyothy Institute of Technology library has adopted Open Access System. Documents are classified as per International Classification System 'Dewey Decimal Classification'. Jyothy Institute of Technology Library has good collection of books with  4300 Volumes covering 800 Titles in engineering subjects. International, National Journals, Technical Magazines & Newspapers are subscribed to update subject knowledge. Reference section covers with latest year books, Bibliographies, Dictionaries, Directories and handbook. General knowledge books are also supported with other books which are helpful to prepare for the competitive exams / personal development activities. "LIBSOFT" software is installed and used for Library Management. Bar-coding labels are pasted to all books in the Jyothy Institute of Technology library. 'Digital Borrower's Cards' are issued to all Staff and Students.Jyothy Institute of Technology Library is fully automated covering all its areas & OPAC facility is provided for users to locate the documents. Jyothy Institute of Technology Library's Digital Centre is having a good collection of CDs/ DVDs. Users can scan and refer information available in CD's/DVDs. Also, Internet facility is provided for 32 systems in the digital centre for web search. Jyothy Institute of Technology Library has subscribed to Online Journals from IEEE, ASTM Digital Library and J Gate publications. Users can take Xerox copies of Reading material available in the JyothyInstitute of Technology library from library's Photocopier. Jyothy Institute of Technology Faculty and Students can visit the following libraries with their I D Cards for reference purpose and also can take Xerox copies of literature of their interest for project, study or research purpose.  Students are allowed inside the Jyothy Institute of Technology Library only by producing IDENTITY CARD & they should sign in and sign out in the register kept at Jyothy Institute of Technology Library check point. Use of MOBILE PHONES is strictly prohibited. If found, such phones will be confiscated.  SILENCE should be strictly maintained, any discussion must be in low tones to avoid disturbance to other users. Jyothy Institute of Technology Students can borrow maximum of 3 books from Issue Section for a period of 15 days and return the book on or before due date. The renewal of the book depends on the demand of that book. Books which are issued could be reserved and collected according to priority.  Books loaned should be protected from rain, dust, insects etc. Defects found in the books should be brought to the notice to the staff immediately before issuing otherwise borrower will be held responsible for any such damages.  Please avoid keeping the documents open on the table, and folding pages for book marks. Marking by pen or pencil in books is strictly prohibited.  In case of loss of book the borrower has to replace the same book with latest edition or asked to pay double the original cost of the book along  with the fine in both the cases. Books should not be kept from reference section to Jyothy Institute of Technology library section and vise versa  and students are not allowed to replace book periodicals back on the shelves.Eatables are not allowed inside the Jyothy Institute of Technology Library. Walls, furniture and reading materials should not be defaced in any way. All books taken out of the JyothyInstitute of Technology library are subject to inspection at check point. Any change of branch, address status etc. should be informed to the Librarian immediately in writing. Personal document, and non-library material/ books are not allowed inside JyothyInstitute of Technology library, only a NOTE BOOK or loose sheets are allowed inside prepare notes. Bags personal belongings are to be kept in property counter
