JnanaVikas Institute of Technology, is one among the foremost institutions in technological education. The JnanaVikas Institute of Technology was established in 2001. JnanaVikas Institute of Technology  is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to VTU, Belgaum. JnanaVikas Institute of Technology is a residential campus with nearly 73 faculties, 28 technical and non-technical supporting staff, 27 administrative and supporting staff and 590 students and JnanaVikas Institute of Technology campus located in a beautiful green land of about 25 acres.  JnanaVikas Institute of Technology has established itself as a premier centre of teaching in Karnataka. The JnanaVikas Institute of Technology has four academic departments in various disciplines of engineering and three departments in general science with nearly 19 laboratories all together, organised in a unique pattern. There is a separate department for management discipline. Faculty student community, technical and supporting staff and an effective administration have contributed to the status of JnanaVikas Institute of Technology. JnanaVikas Institute of Technology HOSTEL

The JnanaVikas Institute of Technology provides both hostel for Boys and girls and lodging home accommodations to the students separately for boys and girls. A teacher-warden appointed by the Principal manages the residential JnanaVikas Institute of Technology hostel. Admissions are made on first come first served basis and every inmate is to conduct himself herself as per prevailing rules and regulations. Right of admission and right of expulsion rest with the authorities. A JnanaVikas Institute of Technology canteen is situated in the premises of the institution and sufficient care is taken to see that healthy and wholesome food is served during working hours.

The JnanaVikas Institute of Technology library is located in the first floor of the main block, occupying 6000 sq feet of area, Marrying aesthetics with utility, the JnanaVikas Institute of Technology modern Library houses more than 17,000 books and subscriptions to over 100 national and international journals and consists of a large collection of books pertaining to Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and topics of general interest.  The JnanaVikas Institute of Technology library collection is continuously increasing to cater the needs of teachers and students and to include new and latest titles. The reading section in the JnanaVikas Institute of Technology library is well furnished and well lighted and ventilated, kept open for teachers and students even after normal working hours of the JnanaVikas Institute of Technology. Various technical journals in every field of engineering and architecture are subscribed for the benefit of the staff and students to enable them to keep themselves well informed of the latest know how. The JnanaVikas Institute of Technology Library also subscribes to more than 05 E-Journals – IEL. It’s a member of DELNET. The JnanaVikas Institute of Technology Library comes with provision for modern facilities including Library Automation, Stock Section, Reference Section, Issue Section with advanced computers and other peripherals. JnanaVikas Institute of Technology library also provides leading newspapers, magazines and periodicals in almost all Indian languages for the benefit of JnanaVikas Institute of Technology staff and students to improve their general knowledge in their leisure hours.
